MISSION STATEMENT

It is our utmost desire to remain faithful to the call and the command of our Lord Jesus in order to effectively bring the Gospel of Hope, Salvation, Reconciliation and Restoration to the people of Africa.

Luk 4:18 - 19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (KJV)

Act 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (KJV)

The Objective for "Gospel into Africa"

In partnership with and under the direction of the Holy Spirit, there are two main objectives to this ministry:

  • To start the ministry by establishing an operational base at Maforga Mission, Gondola, Manica Province, Province, Mozambique. From here the program of church planting will be initiated. Hubs will be identified and established amongst the various people groups in Northern Mozambique. 'Men of Peace' will be identified in each area, trained and equipped based on the principles of the disciple making / church planting movement. These leaders / church planters will then commence with the process of church planting: They will identify leaders whom they will train disciple and these in turn will replicate the next generation of leaders, etc, within that people group. Each leaders establishes a church / disciple group.

  • Disciple making and subsequently the planting of churches will be based on the principle of bible based discovery and obedience to the Word of God. The leaders and their groups will follow a process of inductive bible study, discovering God's love for them and learning the vital importance of being obedient to God's Word. This obedience then becomes the spiritual base for their lives, bringing about the changes and transformation in their personal lives and circumstances.

What has also become very clear was that this ministry should not be contained within denominational boundaries and that it should function on New Testament principles, bible based and open to the fullness of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This will be a church that ACTS and grows.

“Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.“
Habakkuk 1.5 (NIV)

Over the last decade or two, a number of successful Church Planting Movements have sprung up around the world, especially within the unreached regions of the world. A a study was recently undertaken among various leaders of Church Planting Movements. The purpose was to determine those critical characteristics which are common to all. This was done and the following 10 universal elements were to be found within each movement:

·           EXTRAORDINARY PRAYER

·           ABUNDANT EVANGELISM

·           INTENTIONAL PLANTING AND REPRODUCING OF CHURCHES

·           THE AUTHORITY OF GOD’S WORD

·           LOCAL LEADERSHIP

·           LAY LEADERSHIP

·           HOUSE CHURCHES

·           CHURCHES PLANTING CHURCHES

·           RAPID REPRODUCTION
